BIOGRAPHY
Giulia Riboli, approached the theremin in 2009, also thanks to the ecleptic Italian thereminist Vincenzo Vasi. In 2011 she attended the "Theremin Summer Academy", in Colmar (France) directed by the virtuous German thereminist Carolina Eyck.
Then she joined the concerts of prominent Italian artists, such as Paolo Enrico Archetti Maestri (Yo Yo Mundi), the pianist Davide Calvi, the percussionist Davide Merlino, and many more.
Giulia has played in clubs, theaters, castles, museums, contemporary art galleries and picture galleries, but also at private parties of international companies such as Zeiss, and in scientific divulgation ceremonies, such as the BergamoScienza Festival.
In 2013 Giulia played a concert organized by Biella Jazz Club, at 1900 meters above sea level, on Monte Mucrone (BI), floating on a platform in the middle of a mountain lake. In that same year she was introduced in a conference, coordinated by Peter Theremin, about the Italian culture of theremin, at the "Moscow Theremin Studio".
Giulia Riboli appears favourably on the list of international theremin performers of the Russian website "Theremin Times" supervised by Leon Theremin's grandnephew.
In 2017 one of his theremin melodic lines was recorded for Ermal Meta's platinum record "Vietato Morire".
She has been selected by the NY Theremin Society, with 20 other international artists, for the cd-compilation "Theremin 100" (released January 16, 2020), with the song "Under the Milky Way", signed Tears Of Sirens.
